L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara review

Ok, this blog is just driving me NUTS today. The pictures uploaded in the wrong order 3 times and now my font is blue and underlined grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Anyway, this is a review of the L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara. I bought it from Superdrug yesterday for about £10.00, cant remember the exact price. Well the above photo is me with no mascara on at all
This is with one coat of the mascara
And this is after two coats.
In my opinion, this mascara is great. I haven't had enough time to properly play around with it yet, but going by this application, i am VERY happy!
It didn't clump, or stick my lashes together and i know i could apply another coat without fear of spider lashes.
It wasn't too wet either, which tends to be a big problem with new mascaras.
As you can see from the first photo, i have really rubbish short lashes, so i'm pretty chuffed with this!
Until next time

Garnier Pure Active Exfo Brusher review

Thought i'd do a quick review on the Garnier Pure Active Exfo brusher.
I bought this a week ago from Tescos for about £7.49, which i think is quite pricey for a face wash.

I have been using this every day, twice a day, and i haven't really seen much reduction in the marks, however i have noticed that my skin is definately a lot clearer and as the brush is like an exfoliater, my skin hasn't been as dry.

I like the scrubby brush thing because it feels like it really gives a good deep clean without being too harsh. You definately don't get that face-stretched-shiny-over-bones feeling, just a really nice, clean, soft feeling.
However, a big minus side for me on this product is that the brush is attatched to the bottle. You have to twist the top 180 degrees in order to 'open' the bottle and then tip it up to deliver the face wash onto the scrub.
But the wash is really quite runny and you end up squeezing it on the floor, then angling it only slightly so it runs onto the brush - basically it's quite fiddly and runny.
I then tried tipping my head back and squeezing it onto my face and scrubbing it in quickly, but like i said, it's so runny it tends to seep into your eyes and mouth - maybe this is just me, but i have found this quite annoying and for £7.50, you would expect the design to be a bit more user friendly.
All in all, i don't think i would re-purchase, due to two things
1) the awkward application
2) the money

But all in all, it's a great face wash, and i will definately be keeping up with it til the bottle is gone!

Until next time

A night out

I really hardly ever go out, but last night i popped out for a couple of hours to see my brothers band play. This is what i wore
My black skull dress from New Look (£10.00, reduced from £25.00 - bargain!)
Black tights
Silver skull ring £1.99 from Oxfam
New platform black ankle boots with buckles £0.99 Ebay!!
I am posing outside my house (that's my bedroom window lit up in the background!) This is me posing in my (messy) hallway. I have my extensions in too.
The nail polish i have on is Rimmel Celebrity Bash
On my eyes i have used a selection of colours from my 88 warm palette.
I have used Conceal It stick from Benefit and Max Factor Second Skin foundation
The bronzer is Rimmel, but i've had it so long all the writing has rubbed off
Mascara is Maybelline Great Lash
Maybelline liquid eyeliner
Rimmel black eyeliner
On my lips is used Rimmel East End Snob - which i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! the only thing is, it's quite soft and is one of those wind up pencils so i don't think it will last long. It's a beautiful dusky pink colour. I sometimes top it with MAC Hue, but i find when you put lipstick on top of lipliner it doesn't stay on as long, so i just used the Rimmel and that stuff stayed on all night!!!

My brother was, as always, fantastic!!
So that's all folks!
Until next time xoxo

Shoe Lust!!

Oh i am sooooo in LOVE!!! these are the Kara wedges from Carvela and are £120.
They have them in white and orange too (orange? no thanks). I would find it hard to choose between this lovely nude colour or the white, but would probably go with the nude.
I love them so much...the best wedges are always super expensive :-(
I shall have to start saving.....

A picture heavy post!!!

Ok, these are some more pics from that night...you can kind of see my dress a bit better in this photo Boots! mine are on the far right - they cost me £20 and are amazing, i bloody love them!! My brother's girlfriends are on the far left and are from Faith, my sisters are next and are from a catalogue and i can't for the life of me remember where my other friend's shoes came from...

Ah, i added this picture so you could check out my bracelet! Kate, my brother's girlfriend (next to me) bought it for me from River Island and i am officially in love with it. It's pale pink and i am in daily battles with my two year old for possesion of it!

This is my brother on stage. His band is fantastic, Solid State. My sister's hubby is the drummer.

And i put this picture in cos i find it so hilarious. It's me an my very old friend Jules, i've known him for 16 years now. He is the bass player in my brothers band (and his wife is the one in the picture wearing the unidentified shoes haha)

Hope you enjoyed this post!

FOTN

So on saturday i went into town to see my brother's band play - it was an excellent night and i didn't get in til 3.30am!! This is me on the left with my brother Eddie and my sister Miranda. Not a ver good picture of my makeup, but here goes
Eyes - eye primer from Claire's
Eyeshadow - NYC Best of Broadway and my 88 warm palette
Rimmel eyeliner and Maybelline liquid eyeliner
Maybelline great lash mascara
Face - Pure concealer and Barbara Daly concealer (from Tesco's - it's really good!)
A very old Rimmel bronzer
Lips - Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner Definer in 063 Eastend Snob (this is LOVELY)
Mac Hue lipstick

I had my home made Flip In extensions in, which i loosley curled. I plaited part extension and part real hair either side of my head and wrapped them over the top, securing them with LOADS of hair grips. It made the extensions feel really secure and it looked very nice, i must say! i was impressed cos i'm not all that good at hair. I have a better picture of my hair and outfit but it's on the home pc, so i will upload it later.

This is me and my sister.
I wore
Black short Rolling Stones vest dress with diamantes and a really low back with silver chains (it's so lush!) from Amplified
Black tights
Black suede ankle boots with studs from the market
An old cropped denim jacket i bought from Primarni about 5 years ago, which i bleached the other day
A GORGEOUS pink flower bracelet From River Island that my brothers girlfriend bought me
I will upload a pic of said outfit in the next post
Au Revoir mon amis!
