confessions of a concealaholic

ok, this is a bit of a lame post, just to say how overly excited i am about the new Benefit kit Confessions of a concealaholic!!!!!!

i have long been dying to try out most of these Benefit concealing and brightenong products, but they are kind of pricey...for £28.50, you can get the lot in this cute little kit!! (albeit a lot smaller) but as my sister pointed out, as we ogled the Benefit catalogue she had picked up whilst shopping, the sizes aren't that different really. All in all i think it's great value for money, and me and my sister are going to get one each asap!!!!

wait for the review.....

ooooh and i got a little tin of cherry flavoured Carmex...heaven on a stick (or in a tin). The only thing is, it becomes weirdly antiseptic smelling and tasting once it's been applied. But man it's so lush.
And i WILL WILL WILL be blogging tomorrow and showing pictures of all the lustrous things i have bought since i last blogged (or at least some of them)
Till next time, bitches

long time no see

Wow, i haven't updated in sooo long! my laptop is driving me absolutely crazy, i think the battery is on it's way out. I have so many new things to show you....however they will have to wait for my next update as i have a naughty baby to deal with and my boyfriend is on his godforsaken Xbox which means i cannot upload any photos or it slows his online connection down. It's a serious business, killing people with your bare thumbs...
Anyway, i will be back v soon with a proper update.
Oh and welcome to my 6th follower, yay!!! (technically my 5th follower, if truth be told, as i somehow managed to follow myself)
Until next time

a few new bits and pieces

This is my newly organised vanity woooo i love it! These plastic storage boxes were from Poundland, and my brush holder is an old candle holder, but i've had it so many years now i can't remember where it's from!
This is one of those standard chests from Ikea, but i painted it cream gloss. I'm going to customise it soon though, as it's a bit plain. The green butterflies are tealight candle holders, which i bought from a charity shop for ££2.00 about a year ago - i absolutely love them, they are so pretty. The Marilyn Monroe tin is my money tin and is another Pounldand gem!

The mirrored chest was £16.00 from Sainsburys, but when i picked it up, i noticed a sort of shell - like mark under the surface on the top... the manager was called and he said i could have it for £11. The good thing was, i had £7.50 on my Nectar card so it only cost me £3.50!!!! that makes me love it even more. The mirror on top is an angled mirror, which was £10, also from Sainsbury's. it's brilliant for doing your make up in. My eyeshadow...sorry it's the same as usual, i haven't been that inventive of late! This was (again!!!) from my NYC palette (Best Of Broadway)

And this is my makeup, on the way to visit my mama in the hospital..she's just had an op on her spine :-(. She's fine though, and will be out tomorrow, thank goodness. The stress of it all has caused me to have two ginormous coldsores on my lip, which is NOT nice, i can tell you!

I've just started reading the first Twilight book - i've never seen the films or anything, and so far i really love the book - it's very atmospheric and i keep wanting to get into my bed and snuggle down to read it...and in my mind, Edward Cullen is Robert Pattinson, cos he's in the movies and he is so lush, who wouldn't want to snuggle down with him?! hahahaa
Until next time

88 warm palette

My new 88 warm palette from Ebay... I swatched the silver, it is a rich intense highly pigmented colour
The colours got a bit mixed up because some of them fell out when i opened it!! there are some beautiful browns, blacks, golds and plum colours in the palette, as well as lots of highlighting shades

Oh hi me! it has a good mirror inside..

Funny lighting, but you get the idea (or picture, haha)

Posh sleek black ultra slim casing...

The outer box. Made by the company Fraulein. I shall be ordering the 88 shimmer palette from them soon. It cost be £12.50 inc p&p. I will do some looks with this asap and post them!!
Until next time

FOTD on pancake day and a little picture of my dolly girl

This is my beautiful cheeky daughter Madison Amber Rose. She is 2yrs 5 months. I have a beautiful 8 yr old daughter too!
okay so this is my eyeshadow, using the NYC Best of Broadway palette. I didn't use much though as i was only popping out to run a few errands and plus it was pouring with rain!

This is the eyeshadow again in a slightly different light. On my eyes i have used Revlon eyeliner and L'oreal Double Extension mascara

This is a close up of my lips (obvs) wearng GOSH darling nude lipstick

and again.....

And here is my whole face hahahahaha. I have on as follows
NYC Best of Broadway eyeshadow palette, Lo'real Double Extension mascara Revlon eyeliner, L'oreal Roll 'On True Match foundation, L'oreal Touch Magique concealer, Rimmel 025 Sun Kissed (i think) bronzer and GOSH Darling nude lipstick

Sorry, i know these two pictures are the same but i don't know how to delete one of them!!

And that concludes my Face Of The Day!!!
On another note, i was watching What Katie Did Next and have become obsessed with finding the shade of bubblegum pink nail polish she was wearing. I googled it and someone said a real likeness is W7 in Barbie pink...it does look like a pretty good match, so no doubt i will be purchasing that v soon!.
I have also ordered two bottle of St Moritz mousse fake tan, which i am positively dying to try out. I think they should be here tomorrow. If so, i shall be applying it on Thursday after my luxurious bath with all my new Dove silk bath products i bought today ( all on offer for half price at Sainsburys ).
The St moritz cost me £2.99 per bottle and only £1.95 p&p which is brilliant, and if the tan works a swell as everyone is saying it does, well then i shall be purchasing many more at that price ( i got mine at Fragrance Direct, which also has many other fab little bits, all super cheap and for £1.95 p&p you can't go wrong.
Ok i'm offski.
Until next time
XOXO

Soap and Glory and Rimmel Airy Fairy

Sorry about the lousy pictures...
I managed to get my hands on Rimmel Airy Fairy, which i was pleased about considering i thought it was only available in the US. I found it online for 95p!!! it was an additional £2.50 p&p but that's fine, it's still really cheap, and considering i've heard you can't get it over here, i was really happy. ANYWAY..onto the colour....it's a lovley creamy pinky/lilac nude, which sounds weird but really works, and looks totally gorge. It's very creamy and moisturising and a lovely subtle colour. On the sticker and in the tube, it looks like a creamy versu=ion of the dreaded school days favourite Amethyst Shimmer by Rimmel, but it's really not. I'd say it was a great nude with a twist!!
Onto the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss. I had originally wanted the set of three but the boots i went into only had them in singles. I got the colour Nude, which looks a really dark brown in the tube, but is much much lighter when you put it on, and it tastes of yummy chocolate. The gloss itself is quite thick, but feels really nice on. However, i was expecting a much more intense tingling feeling, maybe i'd read too much about this product being amazing, but it just tingled a teensy bit and definately didn't plump at all :-(
