Miley Cyrus/Max Azria clothes at Asda OMG!!

Grrrrr as usual i have uploaded the pictures in the wrong order, so please bare (bear/bare?) with me...
Well, today i went to Asda and in the teenage range i spied some clothes designed by Miley Cyrus and Max Azria. Now i am by no means a small adult,(i am approx size 12-14) but when i saw this top and leggings i swooped them up in size large and bobs your uncle, they only bloody fit!!
The leggings are full length with little square studs all down the outside of the legs. Not teeny-bopper-ish at all, quite rock chick, really!. They are also SUPER soft and stretchy and fit perfectly (although they are a bit long, seeing that i am only 5ft1)
And when i saw this top, i new i had to have it. It is a gorgeous pink, almost long enough to wear on it's own over leggings, but i will team it with a stretchy black mini. It has an almost army type print on it, but also slightly tigerish looking. It is very thin, and the sleeves are really long, which i love. I will wear a pink or white stretchy vest top underneath as it's quite see - through.

The leggings where only £9.00 and the top was only £7.00, and it's safe to say i am pretty chuffed with them!

Until next time

mini haul!!!

Hi guys! hope you are all well and happy! This post is just a mini haul of the things i have picked up today.
Okay, so first up is this very cute 'Louis Vuitton' bag. I found this in my local Oxfam shop for only £6.99. I am under no illusions that it is a real Louis, but i think it's very lovely and the money went to a good cause.
Then i went to Tescos and picked up this GORGEOUS Rimmel nail polish in the colour Beige Babe.

As soon as i saw it i new i had to have it. It's a more intense version of Beige Style by Rimmel, and slightly darker than Nails Inc Mink (both of which i adore). I only painted one nail, just to show you.
The application was quite streaky and i had to apply 3 coats, which i don't really like, as it feels like nail varnish (or 'marnish' as my almost -3- year -old calls it) never really dries properly, and chipping is more likely to occur. However, the colour is fab, i really love it and think it's great for autumn.
First pic is with flash, one below is without flash. I think the true colour is somewhere in between the two (my lighting is very poor)
Also in Tescos i got Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara in black (obvs).
It says ...''Advanced, ultre lengthening formula for beautifully long, remarkably strong lashes''.

It is apparantly a mascara with 'grow lash complex'

I shall do a review on this in the next couple of days.

THEN! i went to Asda (don't ask, it's been a looong day) and i got these simple diamondy studs for £1.00...aaaaaand some fab Miley Cyrus (i know!!) clothes - post on that coming up!!

Afterwards we popped to my sisters and she had bought two cans of Batiste Dry shampoo as it was only £1 in Superdrug, and she very kindly gave me the Blush can.
I am, amazingly, a dry shampoo virgin, as i have never seen the point before (i wash my hair every other day and that suits me fine) so i never really let it get that greasy.
But i really wanted to give it a go as i've read some beauty bloggers use it for backcombing their hair, and mine is so super fine, i could do with a bit of grippage!!
Aaaannnyyyywaaaay, that was my rambly blog, hope you guys enjoyed

Until next time

OOTD

So here we go guys, a little outfit of the day for you! I went out with my sister to see my brother play. It was his forst time playing with his other band, and the gig was amazing!! He sang with his girlfriend too. It was really brilliant!!!
So anyway, above is a picture of my hand (obvs). Round my wrist i have a beautiful sparkly black vintage necklace from my mum.
I have my CUTE Hello Kitty ring on which i bought (weirldy enough) when i went to Kenley Aerodrome to watch an airshow last month. There were a few stalls and i spotted a lady selling these for £1.00!
I think my black and silver ring is from Dorothy Perkins, and i don't remember where my silver thumb ring is from.
And this is what i wore
My baggy off the shoulder top from River Island (says Musicians wanted, apply within - thought this was apt, seeing as i was going to watch a band!)
My 'skirt' is actually a bandeau top from Bay Trading, worn as a skirt.
Black tights and my trusty old boots from the market (these just seem to go with EVERYTHING). My daughter said to me 'mum, you can't go out in those boots again' and she dug out a pair of gorgeous leopard print platforms from Asos, but i stuck with the boots haha!

And this is me with my boyfriend blazer on from Primark! Although i left it in the car when i went in as i was way too hot.
Blogger is not letting me upload anymore pics, so i will do another post in a sec, cos i hadn't finished rambling!!!

Peace out

Tattoo fail :-(

I waited a very long time to get my tattoo.
I spent hours poring over different designs and types and i finally chose a bow.

Well, 3 bows to be exact, starting with a big one at the base of my spine and then a medium sized one and then a small one going up my back.
For some STUPID reason, i did not bring a photo along with me to show exactly what i wanted.
The tattooist got the placement and design right, but the actual bows i have grown to hate.
They seem 'flat' somehow, very standard looking and not cute or girly. Also, they have been outlined in this weird blue colour.
They don't bother be on a daily basis, as i can't see them.
I have had them for two years now, but since finding the above picture on the internet ( from Fuck, yeah tattoos), i have a real bee in my bonnet about them.
I am, to be honest, pretty gutted right now, cos the bow in the first picture is EXACTLY what i would want. I am going to book an appointment with my tattoist ( a very lovely guy called Leo) to right this 'wrong'.
Leo was the one who did my original bow tattoos, but i really don't blame him, he is a good tattoo artist. I blame myself for not being clear about what i wanted.
Below is a picture of my tattoos...it's a pretty crap picture in all honesty, but i think you can see what i mean.
The moral of this story? make sure you are absolutely certain what you want and take a picture with you (several, if needed!!!). Cos a tattoo is for life - not just for christmas.

Until next time

I want! i need!

Nars Mekong eyeshadow. OMG!!! i saw this on another blog, and i think it's safe to say i really need this eyeshadow. Now i am by no means short on brown eyeshadows, but when i saw the swatch, i nearly died. This is the richest, most pigmented brown eyeshadow with the most beautiful gold sparkles throughout. I doubt you would need any other eyeshadows when wearing this one, it is truely beautiful and i WILL own it. Perfect colour for autumn :-)
MAC Snob lipstick - this just looks like such a beautiful colour
MAC mineralise skin finish natural. Just want it.
Some new black leggings, because all three pairs i have are, quite simply, unsatisfactory in some way or another. Plus, i have bought some amazing grey knee length buckle biker boots and i NEED leggings to wear with them. So there.

Eyeko Tea Rose nail polish. I have read quite a few reviews on this on various blogs and i really love the dusky pink colour. Pinks are my favourite to wear on my nails and i think this is really beautiful.

Well, that's all folks. I tried to upload a photo of my boots (they are not in my posession as yet, i am waiting for them to be delivered) but it wouldn't work.
I also need to invest in lots of long plain vest tops to wear over my leggings so i can wear jumpers without my botty showing.

What are your current 'wants and needs'?

Until next time

Great find at Asda!!

Isn't this just gorge??? (or 'George') pahahahaha. I found it in Asda last night, when i was suposed to be buying my daughter's school uniform (i also picked up a delish jumper - see other post)
It was £5.00 reduced to £2.50. I 'm starting to think i will NEVER buy anything unless it is on sale hahaha.
It has a very vintage-y almost gothic feel to it. It consists of three black roses squished together (sorry, can't think of a more 'pretty' way to describe it), with three strands of stretchy pearls
Ooooh i LOVE it.
My nail polish, if you are interested is my fave one at the mo, Nails Inc in the colour Mink

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time
